Just Fab or Just Fabulous Shoes www. justfab.com SCAM. BUYER BEWARE

About JUST FAB SCAM

An internet e-commerce site that lures you to their site under false pretenses. They offer you a deal to buy cheap shoes and in order to do so you must sign up as a member on their site. What they don't tell you when they tell you to sign up for Membership is that they will retain your credit card information and bill you $39.99 every month unless your order shoes you may not want and if you want to cancel your membership, its virtually impossible. They claim to offer you VIP membership whose benefits include:

1. A newsletter with a few images of cheap shoes or bags you must select. Failure to do so will get you charged (unbeknownst to you) $39.99 every single month whether or not you want the shoes. All because you did not read a 3000+ wordy terms and conditions when you signed up as a "member" to their site for free. They are basically penalizing you for buying from them. WHAT IS THAT? A SCAM!!!

THEY DO NOT SHARE WITH YOU THAT CANCELING IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE AND EVEN IF YOU DO SUCCEED IN CANCELING YOUR MEMBERSHIP THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THEY WON'T CHARGE YOU SOME MORE MEMBERSHIP FEES. IT APPARENTLY MATTERS WHEN IN THE MONTH YOU CANCEL, IMAGINE THAT!!! . THEY DO NOT REVEAL THAT REMOVING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION FROM THEIR SITE IS IMPOSSIBLE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. A NIGHTMARE.

Here are a few things customers have to say about their experience with Just Fab / Just Fabulous

I am so mad I don't even have words to describe my rage with Just Fab / Just Fabulous

I believe that the merit of a company's product sales should be based on customers loving the products and making a decision to purchase again and again when they want, what they want and the way that they want. Just Fab has designed their "business (cheat) model" behind luring customers into purchasing items for the LOW price of JUST $39.99 and signing up as members without fully and opening disclosing that from then on they will be billed $39.99 in membership fees and that their credit card information is stored by the company for these purposes and that the process to remove one's FINANCIAL information from their site is virtually impossible without jumping through hoops to cancel the so-called membership. There is no cancel account button instead the button they do have that says cancel takes you to a link that tells you to call in order to cancel. When you try to call, there isn't anyone on the other end of the line to answer the telephone in the meantime you are still getting billed. And did I mention that the product is HORRIBLE. The shoes are very poor quality. The first pair I received was very disappointing, cheaply made, hard and uncomfortable. I would get better shoes in PayLess of $10...It wasn't even worth my time trying to send them back I just chalked it up as a loss only to find out months later that they have been billing me membership fees. KIMORA LEE SIMMONS will NOT succeed with an explotative business model based on cheating hardworking people of their hard earned cash. WHY DOES YOUR WEBSITE NOT TELL PEOPLE ON THE HOME PAGE IN BIG BOLD LETTERS THAT THEY ARE EXPECTED TO PAY $39.99 each and every month for time immemorial for an email every month with a few suggestions about what some virtual computer thingy things I ought to be wearing. Kimora needs to get off her high horse and realize that people are more sophisticated than that. Not all of us a celebrity worshiping fools who will sit around and allow company's to run this kind of racket. I shall be contacting my lawyer in due course and make sure I get all my "MEMBERSHIP" fees returned. Don't think you can bind people with your fraudulent tiny print "terms and conditions" and get away with it. Just ask Bank of America how that is working out for them!!! Make good products, make quality products and we will buy them. But don't try and hood wink us into purchasing your rubbish poorly made products and think you will continue to fund your expensive habits off the backs of po' folk. ENOUGH of your kind. Enough already! I have all my receipts to verify that I am a cheated customer! in case trustlink.org would like to check with me that this is a REAL REVIEW from a REAL bamboozeled customer.

DITTO!

Why do I have to choose even one star? The same thing happened to me. Sign up free - answer questions for a profile - buy and get shoes - so far so good. I got the shoes, they are nice, I am happy with the company. Then I get a charge for 39.95. I had to call to find out why they charged me. They don't tell you up front and clearly that your joining a monthly membership fee club. They don't tell you in the sign up process, the purchase process, the email ads or the invoice that comes with the shoes. If you search the site hard, you find it. If you read the terms that you agree to when you buy, you find it. I honestly don't know anyone that reads terms for buying shoes. Filed a claim with my bank, filed complaint with BBB and calling a lawyer about looking into a class action lawsuit. If they get Class status, they can get all the records of everyone who was every charged and contact them to join the suit (which won't have a 39.95 dollar monthly fee). The lawyers get rich, the consumers may get their overdraft fees back that this unexpected charge caused or maybe a free pair of shoes. The company loses alot of money defending their deciet and maybe even goes away. Cheers! Consumer law provides for INFORMED customers. Not hidden fees that you have to fight for or claim fraud for. They will get theirs in a big way, watch for that post card in the mail asking you if you want to opt out of the lawsuit or just wait for your free shoes haahaa. The lawyers will be the ones laughing all the way to the bank.

Just Fabulous is a scam.

My Experience:

1) I visit site. I search for hidden catches. All seems normal.
2) I join site membership so I can start a boutique, like I've done other similar sites. Offered first pair for $19.97. I look at a pair I like, looking at it from every angle and video offered, reading reviews.
3) I order it. I scroll through all the information and fill out all the forms. It all seems straightforward, like many other sites I've ordered from.
4) I excitedly await the arrival of my new shoes. They come. Immediate disappointment--the color is all off. I consider returning, but remember they were less than $20 and so maybe I can live with it.
5) The next month, I discover a charge by Just Fabulous for $39.95 on my credit card. I spend hours searching my emails, searching the JustFab site, and finally putting all the pieces together.
FACT: They sent me an email on 11/7 saying that I had until the fifth to skip that month's charge. What charge?
FACT: In the FAQ and Terms and Conditions it says that once you order something you become a VIP. Then, as a VIP, you have the first five days of each month to log on the site and skip being charged. If you do not skip, you are charged on the 6th day.
FACT: The FAQ contains 1,750 words, and information about being charged is under How does JustFabulous work? How do I join?
FACT: The Terms and Conditions contains 3,309 words, and information about being charged is under Program as well as Monthly Option.
6) I went on the site and found a place where I can select to cancel. I submitted my selection and left the site. I was relieved it was over with!
7) The next month I was again charged $39.95. I again tried to cancel. This time I read the pop-up window carefully. It had wording that seemed sorry I wanted to leave. It offers a number to call. I have no interest in calling a number, but then I notice I HAVE to call the number. The cancel process didn't work; I can only cancel by calling the number.
8) The only way I can cancel is by calling from 7am to 7pm. I often get home from work around 6:30. I do not want to call at work. I don't want to call at all. I joined online but was not aware I could only cancel by calling a number.
9) I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, not asking for my money back (though that would be very nice), but asking that they cease my account without me having to call.
10) This post contains nearly 540 words.

Judge me how you will. But PLEASE think twice before ordering anything from Just Fabulous. Read the fine print, but if you have no trouble understanding it, props to you. If you are fine with joining a site that penalizes you for ordering anything, gives you a short time to waive the penalty, and then makes it difficult for you to cancel your membership, then this is the site for you (provided you like cheap shoes to boot).

the smell of fraud from a mile away..

I have wrote two reviews on this company and somehow they were deleted from the site. I have also read many more reviews and now they are all gone. Why are these post deleted and who is deleting them? Is it to make the company looks better? I think the words are out to the American public already.... NOT A GOOD COMPANY TO BUY TO BUY FROM.. If you do you will be sorry... I expect not to see my post here again like the last two. It not a malicious act, is just a fair assessment of the company. Notice the first review, probably written by a company associate is at the top and has been there for the longest time. In the last two week I have read over 20 complaints and they are all deleted.. Check the BBB website see the number of complains within the last 12 months.. Good luck to you ladies, I got my money back after I spoke to my bank and the BBB. They refund me my $39.95 and I have cancelled my account. Will never buy from them again...

Unfair and unethical business practices - DO NOT SUPPORT KIMORA SIMMONS OR JUSTFAB.COM!!

I purchased 1 pair of boots that once I got them, they were hideous. At first I thought oh well, they were only 19.95. This was at the end of October. Then I was checking out my bank statement in December, and saw this company had been charging me $40 a month since I bought the boots. Disgusting. I went back online to sign up under different information to find out how clear this really was, the fact that they charge each month automatically, and it WAS NOT clear at all. Evidently, this was in the small print terms and conditions which is not even on the same page that you authorize payment. I immediately called them, only to be on hold for 30 minutes, then once someone picked up the line, I was instantly hung up on. I called right back, even more upset. Was on hold for another 20 minutes, explained my frustrations, and I was told that they would not give me a refund. When I tried to close the account, I was told that if I close my account I would lose my credit. I looked at the credit on the account, saw that out of the $80 they took plus the $20 I spent on the boots, the only "credit" I earned was 100 points. For 100 points, all that got me was shoe insoles. Incredible. $100 for shoe insoles. So as I was arguing with "Larissa" if that was even her real name, she said she would not refund me both charges, only 1 and also could not and would not provide me with confirmation of the cancel. Also when I requested a supervisor, she told me I could not speak to one. Excuse me but who is the customer? Who just unknowingly paid your company owned by Kimora Simmons, $100 and I don't get the courtesy of speaking with a supervisor? "Larissa" kept telling me it was my fault because I agreed to the monthly charge which again, WAS NOT clearly stated when I purchased the boots. She then said if I sign into my account later on it will not let me in therefore confirming the fact it has been canceled. But does this mean that they are still going to fraudulently charge my account? I am FURIOUS!!! This is clearly shady business practice and highly unethical. I am paying to file a complaint with the BBB and contacting the Attorney General, since they refused to refund both charges. Justfab.com and Kimora Simmons need to be shut down. This is disgusting that they have been getting away with this SCAM. I will NEVER EVER again support anything that has to do with Kimora Simmons. This company has taken advantage of many many people who all they wanted to do was purchase a pair of shoes online. I have made many online purchases in the past and not one company has ever FORCED me unknowingly into a hidden "terms and conditions" making you a member so they can steal consumers money. Outright disgusting. I just read more complaints on this company. Further infuriates me. All the responses from the company regarding the complaints mainly start out with "we provide our customers with a fabulous shopping experience" How is this fabulous??? Also in most responses, the company's response has practically all the same verbiage as though he/she is copying and pasting. Not taking the time to put themselves in our shoes. If they were roped into a scam like this, they would be just as aggravated, and even more so when they see the company's response as "well it states in our terms and conditions and blah blah blah." Yes that is how you all cover yourselves. But regardless, it is still horrific that their only response is "well that's what you agreed to so it is what it is" And yes, companies like Netflix refund all charges, even if you didn't like the employees name. So with that said, I am anxiously awaiting this company's demise.

Avoid at all costs!

I get an e-mail from JustFab for 50% off my first purchase. Well alright! Turns out... not so good. The e-mail links to the account and only gives me 20% off. Not what I was promised. So I try the Live Chat feature. I get a rep instantly. She types in the most horrendous grammar and is only concerned that I haven't entered my billing information yet. DUH! I want the RIGHT discount.

Long story short, she quoted me $19.97 for a $50 pair of shoes. She said I was ineligible for the magazine subscription that comes free with it and then signed off. No good bye. No thank you for your purchase. Nothing. I thought that since there was no magazine subscription the $50 pair of shoes that should have been $25, were knocked down even more. No complaints from me... Until I check my account the next day after it processed. The shoes rang up for $24.97.

I open Live Chat get a new rep. She apologizes but offers no other solution. She also informs me that the magazine could have been easily added to my order. All she asks.... "Would you like to cancel your order?" Well, yes. I don't want someone who can't even offer to take $5 off my order for a given total - NOT A QUOTE - for an order I made is ridiculous.

I would avoid them at all costs. The quality is also questionable as Google searches offer. Go to shoedazzle or elsewhere. Don't bother here.

I purchased a pair of heels in f**kin september. Now all I am offered is store credit, no refund!!!! How could Kimora make so much money and run a company like this? they charge $40 dollars a month! Eff her and her company. im never supporting anything that she does again.

Reading these reviews...

As much as I love shoes, and love Kimora-there is no way I am going to pay a membership fee to look through a selection of shoes. With $39.95 I could not only put gas in my truck to get to the closest shoe store and make my selections myself. For everyone else who may read this, I would recommend you use a prepaid gift card because once the balance is exceeded, they can't charge you all these fees, etc. I was considering signing up but after reading all this, I'll pass. Good luck everyone.

AWFUL Customer Service, TERRIBLE Products DON'T BUY!!!

I am a shoe lover and I adore the idea of getting new shoes every month! I am also a member of a few sites that offer the same membership process. However, my first purchase was a poorly constructed bag that really was not worth the money. My BIGGEST problem happened on Cyber Monday where I bought 2 shoes for $50. The company claims that the sales were final, yet they do not have any notifications to confirm that. Basically I could not exchange or get a refund for any of the shoes. I am stuck with two shoes that I won't wear. They offered nothing but an apology. I would recommend that you look for other, more reputable shoe sites. This is a waste of time, money, and energy.

Beware

I authorized a one time purchase for a pair of shoes and I was charged the next month 39.95 to my credit card. The charge was a very inconspicuous term mentioned in the terms and conditions while checking out...This to me is really bad business. They need to make the terms and conditions very clear regarding the membership fees and how to avoid them. For example, I have a Disney movie club membership. The invitation email I received clearly stated that if you do not respond to the feature title each month it will be sent to you and you will be billed for the price of the DVD... I just don't understand how justfab.com is getting away with this!

RIP OFF!!

I recently purchased 3 pairs of shoes from Just Fabulous. Two pairs where too small and one pair was just plain uncomfortable. I didn't realize how tall the shoes were that I had ordered and was just unhappy with the purchase and wanted a refund (yes I knew about the "restocking" fee). I called and they emailed me a label and I explicitly stated to the lady on the phone that I wanted a refund. A week passes and I get an email from them stating that they received my return and that a store credit had been issued for my account for each pair of shoes I had returned. I called today and spoke with a rep and she told me that there was nothing she could do to give me money back. I told her I wanted escalation and spoke to her supervisor. After speaking to her superior, she told me that she would have to "investigate" a way to "trick" the system into letting them give me a refund on my card because there was nothing for her to "push" to allow them to refund my money to me minus the "restocking" fee. I am so hot and mad about this right now. I told her I had been waiting for this refund so I could cancel my membership. Maybe I shouldn't have said that after reading all the negative reviews. I wonder if they will give me a refund at all. I am so bummed! What a horrible company.
